Chief Financial Administrator, Hillsborough County

As a Partner at Blank Rome, Michelle Gervais counsels high-profile individuals, athletes, and celebrities, as well as businesses and financial institutions, in the areas of sports and entertainment, matrimonial and domestic relations, commercial and business litigation, and consumer finance. She was recently named a co-recipient for top Pro Bono Hours within the Blank Rome Office and in 2013, Gervais was named as a Top 40 Attorney Under 40 and “Rising Star” by the Daily Business Journal. Her success in the courtroom also includes the Hillsborough County Pro Bono Recognition for Service Award in 2016 and Commendation from the Dade County Bar, Put Something Back, and Legal Aid for long-term dedication to the pro bono community.

 

Her commitment to the community doesn’t stop there though. Gervais sits on the Florida Hospital Tampa Foundation Board of Trustees, Women of Influence Executive Board, and was Co-Chair for Florida Hospital Tampa’s inaugural Fashion for Hope benefiting the Kay Meyer Breast Care Center, an event she will chair again in 2019. Other charitable/civic organizations that she has been involved with include the Children’s Psychiatric Center, Inc. and Drug Free Youth in Town (DYFIT).

 

Additionally, Gervais serves as the Vice President of Communications for the Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Tampa Bay Chapter Executive Board, is the Central Florida Outreach Captain for the Sports Lawyers Association, serves on espnW’s “Women in Leadership” Committee, and is a member of the Sports Club of Tampa Bay.

 

Gervais graduated cum laude from both her undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University and at University of Miami School of Law.
